Our main focus, both player and staff, in GSIV Platinum is providing interaction and a sense of unique adventure to each one of you, ultimately recreating that first-time magic of entering Elanthia as an on-going experience for you and your characters. Immerse yourself in stories -- from frightening liches and mirth-filled tavern gossip to delightful murder mysteries and intriguing tales of fishermen -- tailored to your character, community, and environment! Platinum offers a great deal of unique content including the Portal Travel System, a weekly Darts Tourney, and more!
Starting off in a new place can be a bit overwhelming, so we strongly suggest posting on the forums to find a friendly Plat player to refer you (you'll need to post their account name as your referrer) and act as a mentor of sorts to help get you acclimated to the community there and answer your questions about "the rules" for Plat (such as, "What's the deal with these portals?" and "Why should I let people know where I'm hunting before I go hunting?") -- post there and you should have no problems getting the help you need! Also, get a map, dammit! (tm).
